4. ROBERT VOUT (JAMES³, JOHN^2,JAMES¹)was born, according to the 1901 census, on August 21, 1821 in Norfolk, England. He married TABITHA BERTHA ROSE on July 11, 1847 Parish of Ashmanhaugh in the county of Norfolk, England. TABITHA, daughter of John Rose, was born in approximately 1829, also in England. They migrated from England in approximately 1852. At the time they came across they had 3 of their children. It took seven weeks to cross the Atlantic. When they finally arrived they settled on the 6th Con of Augusta Township. He was a successful farmer and labourer. ROBERT died on July 19, 1907. TABITHA died in June 5, 1913 and both are buried in Bissell Cemetery. Census notes on Robert Vout.

5. MARY ANN VOUT (ROBERT⁴ ,JAMES³, JOHN^2,JAMES¹) was born April 8, 1845 in Smallburgh, Norfolk, England. She came across the Atlantic ocean with her parents as a young child and later married DAVID COVILLE, son of Stephen Coville and Mary Knapp. DAVID was born on May 16, 1842 in Augusta, Ontario and died on July 7, 1923, at the time he was a farmer. MARY ANN died on September 28, 1923. Both are buried in Carpenter's Cemetery, Lot 36, Con 5. Census notes for Mary Ann Vout.

	vii.	CELESTIA COVILLE, born January 7, 1881. She married ROBERT JOSEPH PEVERE on September 16, 1908 in Maynard, Augusta, Ontario. ROBERT was born in approximately 1884 to Joseph Pevere and Elizabeth Davis. CELESTIA died on January 14, 1953. ROBERT died in 1967, both are buried in Maynard Cemetery.

6. GEORGE VOUT (ROBERT⁴ ,JAMES³, JOHN^2,JAMES¹) was born October 11, 1847 in Norfolk, England. He married SCENA BISHOP. There has been a lot of confusion regarding SCENA. and the possibility of GEORGE having had two wives. However this is my theory. Again, this is a theory. I have found that she went by many different names, Lucinda Pare, Elzina Alberry, Scena Bishop and even Scena Alberry. I believe that Scena is the daughter of Charlotte Ann Bishop (wife of William Alberry) and that she was born out of wedlock. She is listed living with her grandparents, Mary Ann Dakins and Abner Bishop in the 1861 census. Her obituary states that she left surviving three half brothers William, George and L. Alberry. These are children of Charlotte Bishop and William Alberry. It's possible she used all these names as they were her names. Possibly Pare is her birth father, Again these are all theories. SCENA was born approximately 1854. GEORGE died on August 10, 1936 in Augusta, Ontario and was buried on August 12, 1936. SCENA died on June 13, 1937. 7. JOHN VOUT (ROBERT⁴ ,JAMES³, JOHN^2,JAMES¹) was born on September 14, 1852. He married JAMIE WRIGHT, who was born on Grenadier Island. JOHN died on December 13, 1930 and JAMIE died on October 12, 1941. Both are buried in Bissell Cemetery. Census notes for John Vout.

	vii.	GERTRUDE LILA VOUT, born February 25, 1898 in Augusta. She married FREDERICK S. BAIN on April 14, 1914 in Augusta, Ontairo. FREDERICK was born on July 29, 1888 to William James Bain and Sarah Ann Durant. GERTRUDE died in 1968 and FREDERICK died in 1971. Both are buried in Oakland Cemetery. I have no information on children.

8. MELISSA VOUT (ROBERT⁴ ,JAMES³, JOHN^2,JAMES¹) was born in approximately 1855. She married JOSEPH MASON PLACE on March 11, 1873 in Augusta, Ontario. JOSEPH is the son of Wright and Elizabeth Place and according to the 1901 census was born on November 10, 1845. MELISSA died in 1943. Census information for MESLISSA and JOSEPH.

	ii.	BERTHA ANN PLACE was born on March 14, 1876 and died on May 18, 1879.
	iii.	LEONARD WRIGHT PLACE, born July 25, 1880 in Augusta, Ontario. He married MAUD EASTER on September 25, 1918 in Prescott, Ontario. MAUD is the daughter of Charles Easter and Harriet Martin and was born approximately 1896.
	iv.	ETHEL PLACE, born May 12, 1882. She married ETHELBERT RICKEY on August 30, 1911 in Augusta, Ontario. who died on June 2, 1956.

9. SAMUEL JAMES VOUT (ROBERT⁴ ,JAMES³, JOHN^2,JAMES¹) was born (according to the 1901 census) on March 22, 1861. He married ELIZABETH CAUGHEY who was born on June 16, 1862(according to the 1901 census)l. SAMUEL died in 1939 and ELIZABETH died on November 12, 1952. Both are buried in Bissell's Cemetery. 10. SARAH JANE VOUT (ROBERT⁴ ,JAMES³, JOHN^2,JAMES¹) was born in approximately 1863. On January 28, 1885 in Augusta, Ontario, she married BURTON PHELPS who was also born approximately 1863. BURTON is the son of William and Hannah Phelps. SARAH died in 1941.

CECIL BYRON PHELPS was born on August 25, 1896. He married HAZEL MARION BROWN from Watertown on April 8, 1921 in Algonquin. . CECIL died on September 11, 1948 in Brockville, Ontario. Together they had 3 children.

11. WILLIAM VOUT (ROBERT⁴ ,JAMES³, JOHN^2,JAMES¹) was born, according to the 1901 census, on January 10, 1868. He married JENNIE MCNISH. JENNIE was born, according to the 1901 census, on August 16, 1868. WILLIAM was a farmer and died on February 25, 1938 and is buried in Sandy Hill United Cemetery. JENNIE died on October 3, 1960 and is also buried in Sandy Hill. Census notes for WILLIAM and JENNIE VOUT.

NORA MAY COVILLE, born March 31, 1887. She married JAMES LANGTRY on March 23, 1909. JAMES was born on December 8, 1880 and is the son of Joseph Langtry and Maria Foxton.. JAMES died on November 27, 1960 and NORA died on October 17, 1980. I don't believe they had any children.

14. MELISSA COVILLE (MARY⁵, ROBERT⁴ ,JAMES³, JOHN^2,JAMES¹) was born on October 23, 1871 in Algonquin. She married WILLIAM LOVELY and died on March 13, 1950 in Ogdensburg, New York.

	i.	LENA LOVELY, born December 14, 1895. On November 17, 1919 she married NOBLE H. ROBINSON. LENA died on December 1985 in Watertown, New York.

15. GILFORD COVILLE (MARY⁵, ROBERT⁴ ,JAMES³, JOHN^2,JAMES¹) was born on December 23, 1877 in Augusta, Ontario. On April 6, 1904 in the Baptist Parsonage, in Augusta, he married GRACE BROWN, who was born in approximately 1881. GILFORD died on February 16, 1945. Census notes for GILFORD COVILLE.

	i.	GORDON ALEXANDER COVILLE was born on August 22, 1905 in Elizabethtown, Ontario.
	ii.	STANLEY DAVID COVILLE was born on May 4, 1907. He married LELA BAKER, the daughter of Seymour Baker and Laura Bass, on December 3, 1930. Together they had one child.

16. HERMAN COVILLE (MARY⁵, ROBERT⁴ ,JAMES³, JOHN^2,JAMES¹) was born on May 18, 1887. On December 21, 1904 he married ETHEL MAUDE ROSE, daughter of Charles Rose and Susan Place. ETHEL was born on January 1, 1887 and died on September 20, 1962. HERMAN died on June 24, 1974 and both are buried in Bissell Cemetery. Census notes on Herman Coville.

	i.	FREDERICK HERMAN COVILLE, born on July 29, 1905. He married a woman by the name of Bertha. FREDERICK died on February 13, 1942 in Savannah, Georgia.
	ii.	ARNOLD ARTHUR COVILLE, born on June 23, 1907. On January 25, 1928 he married GLADYS SNELL. ARNOLD died on May 3, 1957.
	iii.	CECIL DAVID COVILLE, born on October 5, 1909. He married a woman by the name of Pearl A., who was born in approximately 1913. CECIL died on February 15, 1969 and PEARL died in 1983. Both are buried in Bissell Cemetery.
	iv.	ALVIN WILLIAM COVILLE, born on October 3, 1911. He married EFFIE YOUNG who was born in approximately 1916. ALVIN died on January 7, 1988 in Brockville.
	v.	HAZEL MAUD COVILLE, born February 8, 1913. She married JAMES ROBERTSON and died in 1983.
	vi.	VIOLET ETHEL COVILLE, born August 8, 1918. She married ELWIN LLOYD QUARTUS and died in 1999.
	vii.	HAROLD LESLIE COVILLE, was born on September 6, 1919 in Toronto. He was married twice. He married BETTY ALKERTON, who was born in May 1932. HAROLD died on September 21, 1995 and BETTY died on February 14, 1964. His second wifes name was Phyllis.
	viii.	DONALD WILLIAM COVILLE, born February 13, 1924. He died on April 14, 1945 in Appledoom, Holldand during WWII. He is buried in the Holten Canadian War Cemetery in the Netherlands. Click here to view his name in the Book of Remembrance on Parliament Hill.

	i.	MARY HAMMOND born March 2, 1899, in Cardinal, Ontario. She married PHELAN ALOYSUIS KENNEDY on September 30, 1915. PHELAN was born approximately 1895 in Kingston to Michael Kennedy and Susan Connigan. MARY died in 1995 in Los Angeles California.
	ii.	FRANCIS CHARLES HAMMOND. He was raised by SAMUEL NORTON ALBERRY and EMMA JANE ALBERRY. (See his information in Generation 4 for marriage and children)
	iii.	FRED ALBERT HAMMOND born October 26, 1904. On June 7, 1924, in Watertown, New York he married SARA BENNETT. FRED died on April 26, 1953 in Hawthrone, Nevada. SARA died on November 1, 1942.
	iv.	HAZEL HAMMOND born March 29, 1908 and died 1999
	v.	VIOLET AGNES HAMMOND born March 27, 1911 and died November 17, 1968 in Brockville. She married surname Hawkins.

18. GEORGE HENRY VOUT (GEORGE⁵, ROBERT⁴ ,JAMES³, JOHN^2,JAMES¹) was born on October 4, 1878. He married CECILIA BAKER, daughter of Thomas Baker and Ann Cleary on September 12, 1905 in Grenville, Ontario. CECELIA died on August 27, 1944, GEORGE died on January 25, 1957. ALBERT re married to a SUSAN GRIFFITHS on October 14, 1914. At the time of this marriage SUSAN was also a widow with the surname of Ecclestone. SHE was born in 1886 in Liverpool, England..
