2a.      SARAH ANN ALBERRY (THOMAS¹) was born , according to her death registration, March 27, 1837, in Augusta, Ontario.  She married ANGUS CUTWAY, son of Pierre Cotuan and Margaret Knight, on October 4, 1860 in the St. John's Episcopal Church, Ogdensburgh, New York.  ANGUS was born in April 20, 1839 in St. Timothee, Quebec.  The 1871 Census and his death registration indicated that he was a labourer..  On February 20, 1874 in Augusta, Ontario ANGUS died.  At some point Sarah remarried to to a William Buker, but have not found a marriage registration as yet.  SARAH died on July 11, 1911.  Click here to view her obituary.   Census notes for SARAH ANN ALBERRY.

2b.  FREDERICK SAMUEL CUTWAY (SARAH², THOMAS¹) was born Augusta 1, 1862.  On  November 9, 1892 he married LUCRETIA SHARP in Ogdensburg, New York.   LUCRETIA died shortly after the birth of their daughter, on May 21, 1896.  FREDERICK remarried on June 13, 1898 to CELIA ST. ONGE.  On November 5, 1951 FREDERICK died in Detroit, Michigan.

	i.	FREDERICK CHARLES ANGUS CUTWAY born on January 8, 1900 in Ogdensburg, New York.  I have draft papers on him.
	ii.	ANGUS CUTWAY born November 21, 1901 in Augusta, Ontario and died on May 1, 1902.
	iii.	CHARLES HENRY CUTWAY was born in May 30, 1903.  He died July 25, 1954.
	iv.	INFANT CUTWAY born approximately 1904 and died in 1909.

 

2c.    AMOS CUTWAY (SARAH², THOMAS¹)  was born on September 28, 1871.  On January 14, 1891, in Prescott, Ontario he married Annie Wylie, daughter of Melvin Buker and Christina Wylie.  ANNIE was born on July 28, 1873 and died on August 23, 1930.  AMOS died in 1958 and is buried in the Maynard Cemetery in Augusta.   Click here to view their census information.

	i.	SARAH LUELLA CUTWAY was born on June 5, 1891.  She married on June 7, 1916 to HENRY N. GILCHRIST, son of Henry Gilchrist and Sarah J. Nicholson.  SARAH died in approximately 1958 and HENRY died in 1935.  Both are buried in Maynard Cemetery in Augusta, Ontario.
2e.	ii.	WILLIAM SPENCER CUTWAY was born on June 5, 1896.
	iii.	KENNETH STERLING CUTWAY was born on September 15, 1906.  On June 5, 1929 in Hammond, New York KENNETH married HELEN ANNETTIE TANN, daughter of Hobart Tann and Bertha Woodworth.  HELEN was born in approximately 1910.   Together they had 3 children.  KENNETH died on October 9, 1967 .
	iv.	DORMAN TALFORD CUTWAY, born approximately August 1909.
	v,	GERALD GRENVILLE CUTWAY born on May 23, 1919 in Elizabethtown, Ontario.

Descendants of Frederick Samuel Cutway

2d.    EDNA A. CUTWAY (FREDERICK³, SARAH², THOMAS¹)  , who also went by LuLu, was born on April 30, 1896 in Gouverneur.  Several weeks after her birth her mother, Lucretia Sharpe, died.  For whatever reason her father was unable to take care of her so her Aunt, Margaret Ann Cutway and her husband, Alexander Alberry either adopted or just raised her.  EDNA did rejoin her father some time in Detroit.  In 1920 EDNA, or LULU as some called her, married ANGELO MATTEI, son of Pasquale Mattei.  ANGELO was born on December 18, 1899 in Michigan.  He died in November 1975.  Click here for census information.

	i.	RALPH MATTEI, born approximately 1924 and died on November 21, 1976 in Delta Alaska of an apparent heart attack.
	ii.	VICTOR MATTEI, born approximately 1928.

2e.    WILLIAM SPENCER CUTWAY (AMOS³, SARAH², THOMAS¹)  was born on June 7, 1897.  He married LAURA AUGUSTA WHITMORE on April 5, 1917 in Prescott, Ontario.  LAURA was born in approximately 1899.  WILLIAM died in 1955 and his wife LAURA died on April 6, 1990 in New York United Helpers Nursing Home.  Both are buried in Maynard Cemetery.

Children of WILLIAM SPENCER CUTWAY and LAURA AUGUSTA WHITMORE are:

	i.	WILLIS MERVIN CUTWAY,  born in approximately 1918 and died on November 3, 1943 .  As per the Maynard Cemetery book it reads: “Staff Sergeant Willis Mervin Cutway 1918 U.S.A.A.C. 1943.  Who made the supreme sacrifice over Bougainville in the South West Pacific area November 3, 1943 .”  He is buried in Maynard Cemetery .  Click here for a memorial.
	ii.	WILHEMINA SAVINA CUTWAY, born in approximately November 4, 1919 and died in January 22, 1920 at age 2 months.  She is also in Maynard Cemetery.
