Obituary – The Late Thomas ALBERRY
A familiar figure in Brockville for many years passed away in St. Vincent de Paul Hospital this morning, when Thomas Alberry was called to join the ever increasing majority beyond. The deceased had been a sufferer for several years with asthma, which has now proven fatal. Deceased was born in the Township of Augusta 76 years ago; and lived there until 30 years ago, when he came to Brockville, and had resided here continuously since. His wife died several years ago, but he is survived by a family of 5 sons and 2 daughters, namely, Henry, Perth; Alexander, Algonquin; David, Truman, Harvey, Mrs. A. White, Brockville; and Mrs.
Leveer, Cardinal. One brother, George, a resident of Augusta, also survives. In religion he was Anglican. The funeral will take place Thursday (March 22) afternoon at 2:30 from Mrs. White’s residence, Church St. W., to the cemetery. Services will be conducted at the house one half hour earlier.
