1a.     JANE ALBERRY (THOMAS1) was born, according to her death registration, in June 1835 in England.  On April 13, 1852 she married SYDNEY LENNOX, who was born in approximately 1829, by Rev. Robert Earl.  The Ontario census indicates that she was born in England and he was born in Ontario.  I believe that SYDNEY died sometime between 1874 and 1881 as Jane is a widow in the 1881 census.  JANE died on May 13, 1891 in Brockville and her death registration does not give her parents names.  I also have not been able to find an obituary as yet.  I am still investigating her.  She is a bit of a mystery as none of the children's births have been registered as well as deaths.  I'm hoping something pops up soon.  Click here to view census information.

JULIA LENNOX born approximately 1866.  She married EDWARD RANGER on December 21, 1882.  EDWARD is the son of John and Delia Ranger and died on January 1, 1885.  I have been unable to find a date of death for JULIA.

SAMUEL EDWARD LENNOX born approximately March 1872

FRANK LENNOX born on October 22, 1876, according to his obituary.  He married in November 1926 to a GRETA BARROWS.  She died many years later and FRANK remarried on  March 18, 1847 to IRENE LECLAIRE.   FRANK died on May 11, 1965 in the Hepburn Hospital in Ogdensburg.  He had one son.

1.  CALVIN H. LENNOX (Thomas1, Jane2) was born on March 23, 1857 in Augusta, Ontario.  On October 11, 1879 he married SARAH JANE AZNOE, daughter of Charles and Catherine Aznoe, in the Methodist Church of Canada.  SARAH was born on March 15, 1856 in Algonquin, Ontario.  Sometime between 1901 and 1910 they moved to Alexandria, Jefferson County, New York.   Click here to view census information.

2.  SARAH MELISSA LENNOX (Jane2,Thomas1) born on July 22, 1861.  She was baptized in the Trinity Anglican Church on May 4, 1879.  On April 15, 1889 she married ROSELLE J. SATTERLEE in Brockville.   ROSELLE is the son of Edwin Satterlee and Catherine E. Coppernoll.  He was born on December 31, 1854 and died on January 4, 1916 and is buried in the Ogdensburg Cemetery.  SARAH died on December 6, 1948 and is also buried in Ogdensburg Cemetery.  

Child of SARAH LENNOX and ROSELLE SATTERLEE is: 

i.

Ruby Satterlee.  According to Sarah's obituary Ruby married a Lawrence Giroux/Jerue.

3.  SOLOMON LENNOX (Jane2,Thomas1) born approximately 1864.  He married SARAH MELLIE LENNOX, daughter of James Lennox and Samantha Bishop on April 24, 1883 in Huevelton, NY.  SARAH was born on October 9, 1863 in LeVance,Ontario and died January 26, 1929 in Brockville.  Recently my good friend Larry has uncovered a little piece of disturbing information on SARAH.  It seems she was accused of having 2 husbands per the May 16, 1900 Canton Commercial Advertiser, her defense was that she thought Solomon was deceased.  Click here to view this exert.   The marriage record states that she married a "JOSEPH GIROUE" born July 5, 1871, the son of Felix Giroue and Emily Trudeau.  This was his second marriage.  Sarah states that this was her first.  The marriage was on September 7, 1897.  We are currently looking into this information to see if there was an outcome.

4.  CLINTON HOWARD LENNOX (Jane2,Thomas1)  was born on February 9, 1869 in Augusta, Ontario. CLINTON was a molder at an Iron Foundry, probably at the James Smart Manufacturing Co., Ltd.  On February 13, 1895 he married Mary A. Redgate, daughter of Joseph Redgate and Alice Keenan, in Brockville.  Mary was born on July 7, 1869.  CLINTON died on May 7, 1928 at Vincent De Paul Hospital. Click here to view census information.   Click here to view his obituary.

5.    SAMUEL EDWARD LENNOX (Jane2,Thomas1) was born, according to his obituary, on March 31, 1871 in Maynard.  He was married twice.  First to Della A. Ball, born 1869 and died on April 28, 1899.  She is buried in Maynard Cemetery.  His second marriage was on Jan 10, 1900 to JENNIE HENRY of Brockville.  She is the daughter of Albert E. Henry and Annie Smith.  He was a merchant and had 5 children with his first wife and 3 with his second.  SAMUEL died on November 1, 1918 after suffering Spanish influenza and pneumonia.  JENNIE remarried on August 14, 1919 to a THOMAS FOSTER.  THOMAS is the son of William Foster and Jennie Douglas.  SAMUEL and DELLA had 4 children, SAMUEL and JENNIE had 5 children.  He is buried in the Maynard Cemetery.   Click here to view census information.  Click here for his obituary.

Lura A. Lennox was born on October 24, 1889.  She died on January 9, 1891 in Brockville, Ontario.

ii.

EDWARD SIDNEY LENNOX born July 9, 1891.  On October 7, 1913 he married LILY REDGROVE, daughter of Luke Redgrove and Catherine Hewitt.   LILY was born approximately 1891.  I have no further information on them.

iii.

MYRTLE ADA LENNOX born October 15, 1892.

iv.

NATHAN SAMUEL LENNOX born October 25, 1894.  He married BEATRICE MAE MOORE on July 4, 1916.  BEATRICE was born on January 1, 1898 and is the daughter of William Moore and Lillian Maud Brown.  BEATRICE died on March 18, 1957.  NATHAN died on January 25, 1973

ANNA MARY LENNOX  born July 12, 1900.

vi.

ETTIE ALBINA LENNOX, born October 12, 1901 in Brockville, Ontario.  On December 17, 1917 she married CHARLES STONEBRIDGE.  CHARLES is the son of Charles and Alice Stonebridge and is born approximately 1887.  CHARLES died on November 3, 1918 and ETTIE died on November 20, 1918.  Both died of Influenza.

GEORGE MASON LENNOX, born April 4, 1904 and died on November 9, 1918 of Influenza.

DORA NICHOLSON LENNOX was born on June 23, 1905 in Brockville, Ontario.  She died on August 6, 1906 of Colitis.

IDA MAY LENNOX, born on August 30, 1906 in Brockville, Ontario

6.  CAROLL E. LENNOX  (Calvin3, Jane2,Thomas1), according to the 1901 census was born on February 4, 1881 and married a woman named Adelia who was born on December 9, 1879 in the U.S.   I believe CAROLL died between 1910 and 1920 as ADELIA is listed as a widow in the 1920 census.   Click here to view census information.

GRACE IRENE LENNOX, born approximately 1902 in Canada.  She married a WILLIAM MCADAM born approximately 1900.

LLOYD C. LENNOX, born approximately 1911 in New York.

7.  MARY ELLEN LENNOX (Calvin3, Jane2,Thomas1) born August 1, 1883.  On September 17th, 1902, in Maitland, she married EDWARD WOODWARD of Prescott.  EDWARD is the son of Joseph Woodward and Mary Knapp and was born on October 29, 1874.  They immigrated to the United States in 1908.  Click here for census information.

VIOLET IRENE WOODWARD, There is a discrepancey in her birth.  I have found 2 birth registrations for her.  One dated August 9, 1905 and another August 9, 1907 for Prescott, Ontario  The 1905 registration is delayed and dated 1954.  The 1907 registration has no date of registration but all others are 1907.

8.  ERNEST CARLETON LENNOX (Calvin3, Jane2,Thomas1) was born on February 22, 1892.  He married GRACE JUNE LAMONDA.  GRACE was born on June 27, 1888 in Fullerville, New York.  I have a copy of his WWI Draft Registration Card.  On October 20, 1975 ERNEST died in Watertown, NY and Grace died on August 7, 1974 in Watertown..    Click here for census information.

i. CALVIN E. LENNOX, born on October 24, 1913. Died October 1983 in Watertown, Ontario.

9.  LLOYD H. LENNOX (Calvin3, Jane2,Thomas1) was born on February 23, 1894.  He married a woman by the name of SADIE, I'm unsure of her last name, but according to census she was born approximately 1897.  Census records indicate that he immigrated to the US in 1910 and possibly married between 1910 and 1915.  I have a copy of his WWI Draft Registration Card.  Click here for census information.
